Birthday Cup Stacking Minute to Win it Challenge is the pefect birthday party game. Simple to set up with solo cups that players have 60 seconds to stack and unstack. All ages will love racing the clock in the Stack Attack challenge at your next birthday party.

Supplies Needed - 42 Solo Plastic Cups

How to Play - First, split cups into two groups (21 each) and have two players compete against each other. Players have one minute to unstack the cups and create a pyramid, then restack the cups back into each other.

Use the timer on your phone for this and write down the time as they finish. When all the players are done, look at the times to find a winner. Just add more cups if you want to have more than two kids compete. 

Tip: When stacking cups up, don’t press them tightly together, or they can be hard to get apart.

Supplies Needed – Empty tissue boxes, Belt, 10 white ping pong balls, Birthday Wrapping Paper

How to Play – This game is Junk in the Trunk Birthday edition. The first thing to do is make your birthday box. I wrapped my tissue box in birthday wrapping paper to make it a birthday game.

To make your box, first wrap a Kleenex box in wrapping paper, making sure to leave the area where you pull Kleenex tissues out unwrapped.

Next, cut two slits on the opposite side of the box opening. Then have the belt go through the slits.

Lastly, add to the box 10 ping pong balls (Candles) and place the box around a player’s waist with the belt.

Players then have 1 minute to shake out all their ping-pong balls. This is hilarious to watch!

3. Birthday Balloon Pop

How to Play – Start by placing birthday stickers on the bottom of 20 Hershey Kisses. In the middle of a table, place 20 Hershey Kisses with stickers and 20 without stickers.

Players will face off across from each other with kisses in between. When the timer starts, players have 60 seconds to find as many matching Hershey Kisses stickers as they can.

If they pick a kiss without stickers, they put it back in the middle. Only taking out the kisses with stickers and placing them on their side.

The winner is the player with the most Hershey kisses with matching stickers on them after the one-minute timer is up.

How to Play – Fill 6 boxes with different quantities of jingle bells. Wrap the boxes and add a letter to each box. On a piece of paper, write down the letter and number of bells in each box.

When the timer starts have players shake the boxes and listen to the bells. Then put the boxes in order from the least number of bells to the box with the greatest number of bells.

Supplies Needed – Birthday Gift Box Folded Down, Ping Pong Balls, Painter’s Tape

How to Play – Create a start and finish line with painter’s tape on the floor. Make the lines 6 -12 ft. apart. I like to use painter’s tape so it won’t leave a mark on your floor.

Give each player a folded-down gift box and a ping pong ball. When the timer starts, players use the box as a fan to roll the ball across the floor to the finish line.

Players can not touch the ping pong ball with the box. They can only use the wind to push it across the floor. The first player to cross the finish line in 1 minute wins.

34. Birthday Squish Toss

Supplies Needed – Bag of Large Marshmallows & Solo Cups

How to Play – Have each player pick a partner on their team. Have the partners stand 2-4 ft across from each other, each holding a solo cup. Give one of the partners a marshmallow to hold.

When the timer starts, the players need to toss the marshmallow into their partner’s solo cup. The winning team has the highest number of throws that make it into the cup in 1 minute.

Tip: If you want the game to be harder, get the miniature marshmallows to throw.

35. Candy Suck It Up

Supplies You’ll Need: Straws, paper plates, and a type of these – Jelly Beans, M&Ms, Skittles, Pom Poms (if you don’t want food due to allergies)

How to Play: Give each player a plate filled with Skittles, an empty plate, and a straw. 

Players have 1 minute to use the straw to suck up the candy and drop it onto the empty plate. The player with the most Skittles moved to the empty plate wins.

How to Play – This version of Mummy Wrap is a team game. Each team picks one teammate who will be wrapped with streamers. The team then has 1 minute to wrap their teammate in a roll of streamers/toilet paper. The first team to fully wrap their teammate is the winning team.

38. Chopstick Pick Up

Supplies You’ll Need – A pair of chopsticks for each player, two paper plates for each team, and a bag of candy, mini marshmallows, or pom poms

How to Play – Give each team two plates with 20 pieces of candy or pom poms on one plate. Have the players move each piece of candy to the other plate using chopsticks in under a minute.

Tip: It is easier for younger kids to pick up squishy marshmallows than hard M&Ms with chopsticks. Create cheater chopsticks for younger kids by rolling the wrapper between two sticks and wrapping it with rubber bands.
