This holiday season start a new tradition of hosting your own ugly sweater party. It's easy to host and hilarious to see the different ugly sweater themes your guests choose to wear.
Which is why it's so much fun to let both kids and adults vote on the ugliest sweater at the party. For one night it's an honor to wear the ugliest outfit!
Make hosting a party easy with ugly sweater printables for your Ugly sweater contest. You'll need a Cast You Vote sign, voting ballot templates, a ballot box sign, a ballot tally sheet, and award certificates to run your DIY Ugly Sweater contest.

How to Host an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
Invite Guests
Send out an Evite or invitation to your guests, asking them to wear an ugly sweater to your Holiday party.
Encourage guests to be creative with the Ugly Sweater theme and let them know about the Ugly Sweater contest.
Make a Voting Ballot Box
Create a DIY voting ballot box where your guest will cast their votes. To make the box, use an old shoe box and cover it with construction paper. Then cut a rectangular hole in the lid so people can cast their ballot. Lastly, glue the Voting ballot box sign to the outside of the box.
Download the Ugly Sweater Printable Bundle
The day before the party, print out your Ugly Sweater Contest bundle with the voting ballots, award certificates, ballot tally worksheet, and Cast Your Vote Sign.
Next, cut out the voting cards and make a pile.
Then place the Cast Your Vote Sign in an 8x10 Frame for the table.
Set Up Your Ugly Sweater Contest Table
The day of your Ugly Sweater party, set up a table that will be your voting booth. On it, add a picture frame with a Cast Your Ballot Sign. This will let your guests know what to do and add some color to your table.
Also on the table, add your voting ballot cards and ballot box. Plus a few pens for guest to fill out their ugly sweater ballots.
Voting for the Ugliest Sweater
Let your guest know they can vote for their top three tacky holiday sweaters. All they need to do is write the names of the people wearing your top three ugliest sweaters on the voting cards and drop them in the ballot box.
Make sure to give guests the time they need to have their votes cast so you have time to add up the ballots.
Tally the Votes
When the voting is done, use your Ugly Sweater Voting Tally sheet to track all your votes and determine the ugly sweater contest winners.
Award Certificates
Lastly, fill out the award certificates for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Then present the awards to the winners.
